American singer and actress Halle Bailey and her rapper boyfriend, Darryl Dwayne Granberry Jr., also known as DDG, have officially called it quits. The couple, who started dating in early 2022, welcomed their son, Halo, in late 2023.
The news of their breakup was shared by DDG on Thursday, October 3, via his Instagram stories. He revealed that the decision to part ways was mutual, following a lot of reflection and heartfelt discussions.
In his post, DDG wrote, “Dear friends and supporters, after much reflection and heartfelt conversations, Halle and I have decided to go our separate ways.”
While they are no longer romantically involved, DDG reassured fans that their connection remains strong. The couple’s primary focus is now on co-parenting their son and continuing to support one another’s individual journeys.
“Even though we’ve changed our relationship status, our love for each other is still real. We’re still best friends and adore each other,” DDG shared, emphasizing their commitment to raising their son together while pursuing their individual paths.
