Following her onstage reunion with Nelly during a concert in Arizona last month, the singer is speaking out. The former lovers could be heard yelling at one another in the viral video as they sang their 2008 duet “Body On Me.”

Ashanti was questioned about the hot performance and the current state of their relationship on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live” on Tuesday. We’re in a better position since things were worse earlier, she replied, pounding the air. But now that we’re cool, you know. It was fine because we had a few talks.
She even gave the impression of leaving room for reconciliation. When asked if they were reuniting, Ashanti laughed and stumbled over her response. She began, “I mean, I don’t,” but then she stumbled.
Ashanti is aware of all the social media comments pleading for her and Nelly to reconcile. She remarked, “I saw a lot of comments. “Wow was my response. There were numerous comments and requests for that. After first meeting at a Grammy press conference in 2003, Ashanti and Nelly began dating and split up ten years later. In September 2021, they met at Fat Joe and Ja Rule’s Verzuz event.
When asked if she was considering getting back together with her ex, Ashanti responded, “Listen, there’s nothing happening. This is the wild part, now look. Since we split up, I haven’t seen or spoken to him, so I had no idea he would be there. Approximately six years? Thus, I was unsure of what to anticipate.
Ashanti is currently content living alone. On a recent visit to the United Arab Emirates, she was spotted flaunting her bikini physique.
