With 60 points, Dortmund club overtakes 2nd-place Bayern Munich by 1 point

Borussia Dortmund took the lead in the Bundesliga on Saturday with a 4-0 victory over Eintracht Frankfurt on matchday 29.

At Signal Iduna Park, Borussia Dortmund broke the deadlock with Jude Bellingham, Donyell Malen scored twice, and Mats Hummels added another goal.

Dortmund increased their point total to 60, one point ahead of second-placed Bayern Munich. Eintracht Frankfurt is ninth in the table with 42 points.

Bayern Munich tasted a 3-1 defeat against Mainz 05

Meanwhile, Mainz 05 defeated Bayern Munich 3-1 on Saturday.

Ludovic Ajorque, Leandro Barreiro, and Aaron Martin scored for Mainz 05, while Sadio Mane scored the only goal for the Bavarians at Mewa Arena.

Bayern Munich is second with 59 points, while Mainz 05 is sixth with 45.
