Bandits Burn Down Church in Kaduna, Claiming a Young Life

In a deeply sorrowful turn of events, bandits struck the northern state of Kaduna late Thursday night, setting ablaze St. Raphael Catholic Parish in Kamantan, Kafanchan. This horrifying act resulted in the loss of a young seminarian’s life, Na’aman Danlami.

According to reports, the bandits descended upon the parish house under the cover of darkness, where they proceeded to set the church on fire. While some of the priests managed to escape, tragically, Na’aman Danlami, a dedicated seminarian serving the church, was trapped and perished in the flames.

This devastating incident serves as a grim reminder of the ongoing terror inflicted by bandits in the northern region of the country, particularly in southern Kaduna and its surrounding areas. For years, communities in this region have endured the relentless threat posed by these criminal elements.

As of the time of reporting, the Nigerian Police Force (NPF) has not yet issued an official statement regarding this heart-wrenching development. The community mourns the loss of a young life and remains hopeful for justice and an end to such acts of violence.
