Owa-Obokun of Ijesaland, Oba Gabriel Adekunle Aromolaran, Passes Away

The revered Owa-Obokun of Ijesaland, Oba Gabriel Adekunle Aromolaran, has passed away. The news was officially confirmed in a statement released on Thursday by Chief Yinka Fasuyi, Asiwaju of Ijesaland, in Osogbo, the capital of Osun State.

Prior to this announcement, there had been significant concern regarding Oba Aromolaran’s health, with reports suggesting that he was unwell.

In his tribute, Fasuyi eloquently described the loss, stating:

Following the announcement of the monarch’s death, security personnel have been stationed at the palace.
