Celine Dion Delights at Paris Olympics Opening Ceremony

Canadian superstar Celine Dion took center stage to close out the Paris Olympics opening ceremony in unforgettable fashion on Friday.

The 56-year-old icon, known for her hit “My Heart Will Go On,” performed from a lower tier of the Eiffel Tower, creating a magical moment just after French sports legends Teddy Riner and Marie-Jose Perec ignited the Olympic cauldron. Dion’s performance was the grand finale of a spectacular four-hour event, which kicked off with approximately 7,000 athletes gliding down the Seine River on a flotilla of boats.
