Chidinma Ekile, a Nigerian singer and songwriter, revealed in a YouTube video that she was born blind.
In a video posted on her YouTube channel, the ‘Kedike’ singer announced her intention to become a gospel artist in 2021.
revealed that she was born blind and that her parents did everything they could to help her see.
She claimed that her mother eventually made a deal with God and that Chidinma miraculously regained her sight.
Since then, she has devoted her life to God and encourages others to do the same. Chidinma rose to prominence after winning the third season of Project Fame West Africa in 2010, and her music video for “Emi Ni Baller” made her the first female artist to top the MTV Base Official Naija Top 10 chart.
