Childish Gambino is working on new music.
The rapper-horror actor’s series “Swarm” will be available on Amazon Prime Video on Friday, and it will feature his first music in three years.
A trailer for the psychological drama includes a snippet of a new song called “Sticky,” which is credited to Ni’Jah (the fictional character played by Nirine S. Brown) and Kirby, with Childish Gambino on the remix.
The official Swarm Twitter account also announced that an EP will be released alongside the series on Friday.
“Y’all waiting on visuals, while we get a whole EP,” the tweet said.

Donald Glover and Janine Nabers created “Swarm,” which stars Dominique Fishback, Chloe Bailey, and Damson Idris. Dre (Fishback) is a fan whose obsession with a Beyoncé-like pop star takes a dark turn. Malia Obama is one of the show’s writers.
This is Childish Gambino’s first new music since his album 3.15.20, which was released in March 2020.
Glover confirmed in January that his alter ego is not retired and that he is back in the studio. “Something will happen soon,” he promised E! News at the Golden Globes.
