Chris Brown is facing new criticism, this time for his collaboration with Chlöe Bailey.

The “Have Mercy” singer announced her new single “How Does It Feel” featuring Chris earlier this week. However, given Chris’ history with Rihanna, some Chlöe fans were dissatisfied with her choice of collaborator and took to social media to express their displeasure.

Former 3LW member Kiely Williams was among them, accusing Chris of using Black women to gain public favor following his 2009 assault on his then-girlfriend.

“Let him come out with his own record—so genius, so captivating that it makes us all forget HE BEATS WOMEN. He can’t, so he doesn’t. So, what exactly does he do?” Williams posted on Twitter.

She went on and on about him. “He slowly creeps back into the mainstream by getting small nods for features on Black Women’s merit. Black women who are more talented and deserving of his approval. “I’m swatting the fu**ing air, rn.”

Chris noticed her tweet and responded by mocking her lisp while quoting lyrics from 3LW’s 2000 hit “No More (Baby I’ma Do Right).” “I’m getting sick of ya broken promithis promithis,” he wrote on Instagram.

He also criticized her career and questioned her financial situation. “Clearly, you are at a point in your life where you are either very broke or broken,” he wrote. “THE FACT that you feel the need to speak negatively about me makes you look so lame…

YOUR LIFE AND CAREER MUST SUCK RIGHT NOW.. I’m guessing you don’t have a business or a real job that provides you with financial stability. I’m embarrassed by your actual maturity.”

In another Instagram Story, he shared a Williams meme with the caption “THOP IT.”

Chloe and Chris’ collaboration “How Does It Feel” is set to appear on her upcoming debut album In Pieces, which will be released next month.

“I returned the album!!!” I’ve been crying happy tears. It took three years to complete. I can’t wait to hear from you… SOON!!!” She informed her fans.
