Julius Agwu, a comedian, has shed light on the ongoing feud between his colleagues AY Makun and Bright Okpocha, also known as Basketmouth. While AY Makun previously claimed that their squabble was over N30,000, Julius Agwu believes that there is more to the story.
Julius Agwu, in an interview with Naija Info FM, suggested that there could be deeper issues at work, saying
“I don’t think it’s just the N30,000. Maybe there is more. Na we dey backstage. We nor go fit know. Maybe there is something else that is making them angry and they have both carried in their minds that is causing them to quarrel.”
He also shared his own experience with AY Makun, claiming that when AY found out Julius was planning a show on the same day as AY’s annual Easter Sunday comedy show, Laugh for Christ’s Sake, AY cut off communication with him.
The root cause of AY and Basketmouth’s feud remains unknown, but Agwu’s comments have fueled speculation that there may be more to the story than previously thought.
