A fan-recorded video of Palmer hugging and dancing with Usher during his rendition of “There Goes My Baby” circulated on Twitter, garnering attention. Allegedly, Jackson’s now-deleted account quote-tweeted the clip, expressing his disapproval of Palmer’s outfit and her role as a mother.
Jackson’s post ignited a storm of reactions, with him later defending his stance. He shared his belief that as the head of their family, he holds certain standards and values, which led to the Twitter debate.
Undeterred by the controversy, Palmer took to Instagram to share a series of photos from the concert. While her caption enthusiastically endorsed Usher’s performance, she tactfully avoided mentioning the ongoing Twitter debate, focusing solely on her positive experience at the show.
Despite the differing opinions surrounding the event, Palmer continues to appreciate Usher’s talent and share her enjoyment of the concert with her followers.

While Palmer and Jackson have kept their relationship mostly private, they publicly announced the arrival of their first child during Palmer’s hosting gig on “Saturday Night Live” in December 2022.
