DC Young Fly took to Instagram on Thursday to share funeral details for Jacklyn Smith, also known as Jacky Oh. The service will take place at Atlanta’s Jackson Memorial Baptist Church on Saturday. In the post, the “Wild ‘N Out” star expressed his love for Jacklyn, saying, “Love you, mama… we goin’ up the right way.”

Previously, DC shared an open letter honoring the mother of his three children. The heartfelt tribute acknowledged Jacklyn as the greatest mother and praised her beautiful soul. It highlighted her selflessness and dedication to the family, emphasizing their strong bond and shared faith in God. DC expressed its commitment to living a righteous life and facing challenges with resilience.

On May 31, the Miami Police Department received a call regarding an unresponsive woman at the Homewood Suites by Hilton, as reported by E! News. The woman, later identified as Smith, was quickly transported to Mercy Hospital by the Miami Fire Department, where efforts were made to save her life. Sadly, she was pronounced dead at the hospital. Smith was only 33 years old.

Following the heartbreaking news, DC Young Fly and many others within their circle expressed their condolences and offered prayers to Smith’s family. Odell Beckham Jr., who had a connection to Smith through his partner and former “Wild ‘N Out” member Lauren Wood, took to Twitter to share his thoughts on the loss. Alongside advising people to appreciate their loved ones, he wrote, “Rest easy, angel. Don’t take this life for granted, we’re here in the blink of an eye. Y’all, please love on your loved ones while they’re still here.”

The tragic incident has left a somber atmosphere, with friends and peers reflecting on the importance of cherishing loved ones and living each day to the fullest.
