Desiigner’s life has changed as a result of Takeoff’s passing.

The “Panda” hitmaker confirmed his retirement from rap following the tragedy. Desiigner expressed his sorrow for the death of the Migos rapper, who was shot and killed outside a bowling alley in Houston on Tuesday morning, during an emotional Instagram Live.

“Why do we act this way? Why the hell do we do this? I vouch for God. He said, “I’m done rapping,” as tears streamed down his face.

“This version of myself, it’s done,” he said, pointing to his plaques on the wall. That’s it. It’s over, as you intended it to be. You guys destroyed Takeoff.

Desiigner pays homage to Takeoff and other rap veterans in the tragic video. “I’m through. I can’t continue to live this way. Goodbye, [PnB] Rock. Takeoff, RIP. RIP, Nipsey. RIP, Biggie. RIP, everyone, my man.

He reiterated his intention to stop rapping in a message that he also shared on his Instagram Story. I’m done rapping.

The loss of Takeoff shocked the hip-hop scene. Additionally paying their respects online were Rick Ross, Meek Mill, French Montana, and Chance the Rapper, while Ja Rule and Boosie Badazz warned that rappers’ lives are in danger.

“Bro, this rap shit is wack. That’s not a lie. Boosie remarked, “We targets now, dude. “We were heroes once. This hip-hop is as bad as f**k. Everyone wants us to leave this place.
