Florence Otedola, better known as DJ Cuppy, has opened up about how difficult it’s been adjusting to her usual routine after the excitement of her sister Temi Otedola’s wedding to Afrobeats star, Mr Eazi.
The lavish celebration spanned three countries — Monaco, Dubai, and Iceland — with the breathtaking white wedding in Iceland featuring a special performance by American singer John Legend. The event even caught the attention of Vogue magazine.
Sharing her thoughts on Instagram, Cuppy admitted that settling back into her normal life in London has been tough.
“So, I’m back in London. It’s been a real reality check going back to normal life after Temi’s wedding. Take me back to Iceland,” she wrote.
In a related update, British YouTuber and BMX rider Ryan Taylor, Cuppy’s former fiancé, has spoken about what led to their split.
The pair’s whirlwind romance began in 2022 during the Gumball 3000 rally, and within a month, Taylor had proposed. But by mid-2023, fans noticed they’d unfollowed each other on social media — a clear sign that things had fallen apart.
Speaking on the Ladders Podcast, Taylor reflected on the relationship, saying certain differences created a rift between them. He also hinted that Cuppy wasn’t always open to collaborating with Nigerians in some professional settings.
Taylor added that there were no legal agreements or contracts between them and that, while the relationship ended, he left with valuable lessons and personal growth.
Though both have since moved on, fans still recall their once vibrant love story that captured social media’s attention.
