Mitch McConnell received harsh criticism from Donald Trump on Tuesday for his remarks regarding the former president’s chances of winning the presidency again and the infamous Kanye West/Nick Fuentes meal.

In a Fox News Digital interview, Trump made fun of Mitch, calling him “a loser for our country and for the Republican Party.”

Earlier in the day, McConnell (R-Kentucky) spoke with reporters in Washington, D.C., and criticized Trump for having dinner last week at the former president’s Mar-a-Lago home with Kanye West and Fuentes, a white nationalist.

White supremacy and anti-Semitism have no place in the Republican Party, McConnell declared. In my opinion, it is quite improbable that someone who meets with proponents of that viewpoint will ever be elected president of the United States. Trump has declared his intention to run for president in 2024 once more.

In his interview with FOX News, DT reaffirmed that during their “very fast supper,” he had no idea who Fuentes was. Furthermore, Trump said that any white nationalist ideas Fuentes may have expressed—which he evidently did not—”wouldn’t have been acceptable.” He made no mention of the reason for his meeting with Kanye after his many anti-Semitic outbursts.

Trump continued by claiming that the only reason he agreed to the meeting was so that he could provide Ye advise. He said this because he had “heard Kanye has troubles, particularly financial difficulties.” Kanye requested the face-to-face, which 45 characterized as “uneventful,” according to DT.
