Paul Okoye, popularly known as RudeBoy, has reminded fans not to let Davido and Chioma’s grand Miami white wedding put them under pressure.
The much-talked-about celebration, held on Sunday, lit up social media with waves of photos and videos, drawing admiration from all corners. But in an Instagram post on Monday, RudeBoy cautioned against measuring personal relationships by celebrity standards, warning that such comparisons often lead to unnecessary stress.
He urged people to see their partners as “innocent” and not to hold them to unrealistic expectations. Alongside his message, he shared a smiling photo of Davido and Chioma, congratulating them and wishing them a joyful marriage.
“Miami is on fire,” he wrote. “Don’t let anybody put you under pressure. There’s a thin line between who you are and where you come from. Your man or boyfriend is innocent. Congratulations to my people. Happy married life.”
This Miami celebration came after the couple’s traditional wedding in Lagos in June 2024 and their court wedding in March 2023.
Meanwhile, while Davido and Chioma were enjoying their big day, his first baby mama, Sophia Momodu, was trading words with some social media users. The clash began after Sophia posted a Snapchat video of an American man talking about dating a free-spirited woman.
Some commenters used the opportunity to tell her to settle down and follow the example of Wizkid’s baby mamas, who tend to keep a lower profile.
