Drake Hosted A 75th Birthday Party For His Mother

Over the weekend, the rapper went all out to celebrate his mother Sandi Graham’s 75th birthday. Family and friends, including his father Dennis Graham, and son Adonis, dressed up for the lavish celebrations.

Drake posted photos and video from the purple-lit bash. “Happy birthday, Bubby,” Drake says as Sandi stands behind him in one of the videos he shared on Instagram.

Drake took the stage at one point to toast his mother, remarking on how beautiful she looked. “It’s been a long road,” he admitted. “My favorite aspect of today was how good you looked.”

Drake and his “twinsie” Adonis wore matching grey suits as they posed for a father-son photo in the photo booth.

The 5-year-old also took the stage and delivered an endearing speech. “I adore her,” he said before hugging his grandmother.

Drake’s parents, who divorced when he was five, reunited for a family portrait, which included their grandson.

Drake also wrote a touching letter to his mother, which he shared on Instagram. “Thank you, Mama, for supporting me for 9 months… all the pain and suffering. Only you are aware of the strain you are under… “All my love,” he wrote before signing off as “Kalonji.”
