In a 2019 interview with David Letterman, the former millionaire allegedly made Nazi references and accused Rihanna of abusing herself.

The comedian’s Netflix talk show “My Next Guest Needs No Introduction With David Letterman” was taped in front of a crowd, and some spectators claimed that West lamented how the media consistently appeared to favor women when charges of misbehavior were made. In the wake of Chris Brown’s 2009 attack on Rihanna, he seemed to support Chris Brown, implying that Rihanna must have done something to deserve what happened to her.

Ye allegedly said that “Chris Brown’s career is pretty much finished and you have Rihanna and everyone picked her side” while David Maldonado, who was in the theater for the filming, was in attendance.

She “must have done something to justify what happened to her,” he continued.

Not all of the interview’s comments were left out, though. West allegedly went on a diatribe about how an unidentified music executive buddy was “MeToo-ed” and how West himself may be “MeToo-ed,” along with a suggestion that a Hollywood power structure was behind the #MeToo movement, which seemed to be a reference to Jews.

During the Letterman interview, West reiterated right-wing conspiracy theories, saying that leftists treated everyone sporting Trump’s red MAGA hat “like they were Nazis.”

The “shocking” remarks were largely edited out of the final version of the Netflix show from May 2019.

According to audience member Noah Reich, “It was shocking to see that Kanye West could share harmful alt-right beliefs, conspiracy theory after conspiracy, and misogynistic beliefs about women for the majority of the interview before an edit removed all those items in favor of celebrity fluff content.”

The show was filmed for more than five hours over two days, according to Worldwide Pants, Inc., the production firm behind “My Next Guest,” before being condensed to 55 minutes.

The production company said that during a nearly four-year-old interview for “My Next Guest,” Kanye West and David Letterman “addressed a wide range of issues, including family, fatherhood, music, and creativity.” Kanye also revealed to Dave that he had only recently received a diagnosis of bipolar disorder six months previously. This sparked a frank debate about mental illness, its stigma, and approaches to therapy, and Kanye for the first time disclosed what he goes through during bipolar episodes.

The complaint stated, “Mr. West then launched into a derogatory tirade about the MeToo movement. Later, he discussed the alleged intimidation of Trump supporters by liberals and the suppression of free expression. These ideas were discussed throughout the program, the creators took great care to depict them truthfully, and Dave challenged him on each of these.

West is still receiving criticism for his anti-Semitic outbursts at this time. Adidas and Balenciaga are among the firms that have severed connections with him in the aftermath of the issue. Former TMZ staffer Van Lathan disclosed that the Yeezy designer declared his support for Hitler and the Nazis during the same 2018 interview when he said slavery “seems like a choice.”
