John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has sent warm wishes to all Ghanaians, especially Muslims, on the festive occasion of Eid.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, Mahama highlighted the significance of the holy month of Ramadan, acknowledging the dedication of Muslims in deepening their spiritual connection with Allah through prayer, fasting, and acts of kindness.

He emphasized the importance of using this time for self-reflection and seeking forgiveness for any past transgressions, urging individuals to prioritize strengthening their relationship with Allah amidst life’s distractions.

Mahama called on the Muslim community to extend their compassion beyond personal reflection by remembering and supporting those less fortunate.

He stressed that Ramadan is not just a period of personal growth but also an opportunity to embody the values of charity and goodwill.

As Ramadan draws to a close, Mahama encouraged everyone to seize the moment to seek blessings for themselves, their families, and Ghana as a whole.

He urged prayers to serve as a guiding light, leading towards a brighter and more compassionate future.

According to Mahama, Ramadan represents a time of growth, gratitude, and renewal, motivating individuals to reignite their faith, strengthen relationships, and strive for self-improvement.
