Jose Enrique, former Liverpool defender, suggests that Mohammed Kudus could be the ideal replacement for Mohamed Salah at Liverpool.

Salah has been a standout player for Liverpool since his arrival from AS Roma in 2017, winning multiple titles including the Premier League, UEFA Champions League, and FA Cup.

At 31, Salah has been linked with a move away from Liverpool, with potential interest from Saudi Arabia.

Enrique, who represented Liverpool from 2011 to 2016, believes Kudus could step into Salah’s shoes if Liverpool decides to part ways with the Egyptian forward.

He also mentioned Crystal Palace’s Eberechi Eze and Bayern Munich’s Leroy Sane as potential replacements for Salah.

Enrique stated, “Mohammed Kudus is someone that I think could be a replacement for Salah. Even last summer I would have said that, and now he is playing exceptionally well for West Ham. Ebere Eze from Crystal Palace is another option, but there aren’t many obvious replacements available.

“Leroy Sane from Bayern Munich is also a possibility due to his contract situation. He is the type of player Liverpool could consider bringing in as an option.”

Meanwhile, Kudus has made a significant impact in his debut season in the Premier League since joining West Ham from Ajax Amsterdam last year. He has been involved in 17 goals across all competitions, showcasing his talent with 12 goals and five assists for the Hammers.
