Sex may not be the same always – be it in terms of quantity or even quality. But there are always ways to bring the spice back into your sex life.

Sex, according to various studies, can improve blood pressure, the immune system, and sleep, as well as improve heart health and reduce stress, depression, and/or anxiety. You will also feel a stronger emotional connection to your partner.
However, many factors can have an impact on one’s sexual life.

It is natural for couples to experience a lack of novelty as their relationship progresses. Sex is one of the first things to suffer as a result.

Here are some pointers that will help you improve the quality and quantity of sex you have as a couple:

  • Try things that turn on your partner

Keep in mind that foreplay is not limited to the bedroom. Emotional foreplay can also help you rekindle physical intimacy in your relationship. Aside from kissing, cuddling, and nibbling, being aware of what turns your partner on outside of the bedroom can help you improve your sexual life. Deep conversations, intellectual stimulation, doing something together – perhaps a partner workout – and even something as simple as assisting your partner with a task is examples of these.

  • Enjoy stimulating content together

There’s always something that will pique your interest! It could be watching a romantic movie, reading a book, or listening to music together. If you have healthy communication in your relationship, both partners will be aware of what stimulates your sexual appetite. If you have to do something deliberately to make it happen, do it.

  • Look good, feel good

Looks don’t matter in love, but making an effort to maintain your appearance can help keep the spark alive in a relationship.

When you feel good, you automatically look good. However, the opposite is also true. You will feel more confident and appear more attractive to your partner if you work on your appearance.

  • Make your partner feel safe and secure

Sex is not the total of a relationship. Before you can fully enjoy passionate sex, your relationship’s foundation must be strong. Prioritize feelings of safety, security, connection, and emotional support before prioritizing sex.

  • Schedule sex

If your life revolves around following a schedule, why not schedule sex as well?

Scheduling sex can be a turn-off for some people who prefer it spontaneously, but it can be one of the winning tips for better sex for busy couples.
