On Tuesday, Sexyy Red took to social media to announce her latest project, “Hood Hottest Princess.” The album will consist of 11 tracks and feature contributions from Sukihana, Tay Keith, Juicy J, and Nicki Minaj. Nicki Minaj recently appeared on the remix of the viral hit “Pound Town.”

Following the release of “Pound Town 2,” Red and her counterpart from NYC expressed their mutual admiration. Red shared a message on Instagram from Minaj, where she expressed excitement about their collaboration and described Red as down-to-earth and sweet. Minaj initially had reservations about her part in the song but ended up enjoying the outcome after deciding to have fun with a talented artist like Red.

In response, the rapper from St. Louis expressed her appreciation for the recognition, causing her to blush. She also defended the artist from Young Money against any criticism, stating that she loves her and doesn’t understand why people have negative opinions about her. According to her, the artist is cool and not as mean as portrayed online. She described her as sweet, nurturing, and someone who gave her valuable advice that she will cherish forever. Additionally, she made her feel comfortable during their interaction.

In 2021, Sexyy Red made her official debut with the EP “Ghetto Superstar,” consisting of eight songs. She has also been featured on tracks such as Summer Walker’s “Sense dat God gave You,” NLE Choppa’s “SLUT ME OUT (Remix),” Gloss Up’s “Check,” and Kali’s “Area Codes (314 Remix).” Stay tuned for Sexyy Red’s exciting announcement and the complete tracklisting for “Hood Hottest Princess,” set to release this Friday (June 9).
