Popular Nollywood actress Ini Edo has announced that she is engaged and preparing for her dream wedding. The exciting news was shared by Ini on her Instagram account, @iniedo, where she opened up about how her life took a beautiful turn after meeting her fiancé.
In her heartfelt post, Ini shared how a chance encounter during a vacation changed everything. “That bright Sunday morning six months ago, while on vacation, we crossed paths, and our lives never remained the same. Exactly three months later, you asked me to be with you forever. How did I get so lucky?” she wrote.
The actress expressed her joy and newfound belief in love, saying, “They say, ‘your flaws are perfect for the heart that is meant to love you.’ I now believe this wholeheartedly. 1 of 3 done. My fairytale wedding is almost here.”
She ended her message with an encouraging note for those still searching for love: “To anyone out there who has given up on their happily ever after, love will find you, and when it does, ready or not, it’ll be the best thing that ever happened to you.”

In a candid interview last December with media personality Toke Makinwa, Ini spoke about her desires in a relationship, stating that she longed for a partner who would love, respect, and protect her. She emphasized the importance of being with someone she respects and who shows her kindness.
“I am single because I just want somebody that will really love me. I can’t be in a toxic relationship if you can’t give me that protective energy that allows me to respect you. I cannot be with a man that I don’t respect,” Ini said during the interview.
