Flavour Shares the Secret Behind His Fitness Routine
Nigerian highlife star Chinedu Okoye, widely known as Flavour, has opened up about the discipline and effort it takes to maintain his impressive physique. Speaking on a podcast hosted by former Minister of Aviation, Osita Chidoka, the singer highlighted his eating habits and workout regimen as the key to his fitness journey.
Flavour shared that he skips breakfast and opts for a minimalist approach to meals. Despite his Igbo heritage, he avoids traditional staples like “swallow” and limits his carbohydrate intake. His daily routine includes drinking homemade herbal tea in the morning and having his only meal at around 5 p.m.
For exercise, the “N’abania” hitmaker revealed that he dedicates two hours every day to working out. “Nwanne, it’s not easy, but I do my best,” Flavour said, emphasizing the commitment it takes to stick to such a routine.
When asked about the potential health risks of skipping meals and relying on herbal tea, Flavour reassured listeners that his homemade tea is specially prepared with ingredients that protect against ulcers. “I’ve added condiments to my herbal tea that ensure I stay healthy,” he explained.
Flavour’s disciplined approach to health and fitness reflects his dedication to maintaining both his craft and personal well-being.
