Ice Spice and Dunkin’ Donuts have an exciting treat in store for fans this fall with the introduction of a delectable new creation inspired by the rapper’s hit single “Munch.”
The rapper shared the collaboration news on social media, showcasing an image of a Dunkin’ donut hole adorned with her iconic diamond “Princess” necklace. Along with this visual teaser, the launch date for the product was revealed: September 13.
As reported by Uproxx, the duo will unveil a layered latte known as the “Ice Spice Munchkins.” This delightful beverage is set to join Dunkin’s seasonal menu. It will combine the renowned frozen coffee from the food chain with Pumpkin Munchkins Donut Hole Treats, featuring generous drizzles of caramel and a crown of whipped cream.
This exciting collaboration adds another feather to Spice’s cap in what has been an incredibly remarkable year for the artist. On August 8, she proudly accepted the 2023 Rookie of the Year award from Billboard.
Reflecting on her journey with deep emotion, Spice shared her thoughts with the publication, saying, “I’ve dedicated so much hard work, and it means the world to be acknowledged for it and to have more than just awards to show for it. I aspire to push the genre forward in any way I can, but I’m also aware of the significant impact I’ll have on the up-and-coming generation.”
The “Princess Diana” sensation has also earned acclaim for her collaborations with music industry heavyweights, including Taylor Swift and Nicki Minaj. Her partnership with the latter resulted in multiple hit tracks that garnered millions of streams.
Sharing her feelings about meeting Nicki, Spice revealed, “When [Nicki] hugged me, I started crying… I shed tears, but I didn’t say much to her. It was like, ‘Wow, this journey.’ You know, I adore Nicki, and meeting her was incredible, but it also felt like a full-circle moment for me,” during an interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe earlier this year.
