Reality TV star and influencer Natacha Akide, widely known as Tacha, has revealed that she’s considering stepping into the world of politics.
In a recent chat with BBC Pidgin, Tacha explained that her growing concern about the country’s direction has inspired her to think about taking a more active role in shaping decisions. She pointed out how deeply political choices affect daily life — one government policy, she said, can either uplift or frustrate the people.
According to her, it makes more sense to get involved than to keep complaining. “If you’re always talking about change, then maybe it’s time to be part of it,” she said, adding that she’ll continue using her platform to promote good governance and accountability.
“After God, it’s politics,” Tacha noted. “One government policy can make or break you, so it’s only right to stay involved. Politics is something I’m passionate about, and I’ll keep using my voice to encourage transparency and better leadership.”
Beyond her political interests, Tacha recently attempted to set a new Guinness World Record for the most makeovers done by a single artist in 24 hours. On October 11, she completed 150 makeovers — an incredible feat now awaiting official confirmation from Guinness World Records.
