The royal family dressed up in their best church attire for a Christmas Day service on their Sandringham, England estate yesterday — and Kate Middleton looked festive in green.

For the occasion, the Princess of Wales, 40, wore an old favorite coat dress by Alexander McQueen, a long style with flap pockets that she previously wore at three different events in 2020.

Underneath, she continued her recent monochromatic trend, appearing to wear the same green ribbed Mango dress she wore to a children’s center last month. The royal complemented her old coat with a new green hat with a bow and a jaunty feather, which appeared to be a custom version of a similar Philip Treacy style.

The princess accessorized further with Sézane jewelry, including the now-sold-out Dina Earrings ($130) with dangling blue beads, as well as a pair of brown boots, a coordinating brown clutch, and gloves.

Middleton has only worn all green for the traditional Christmas Day walk to church once, in 2015; for the annual service and walkabout in Sandringham, she usually wears tartan or shades of burgundy, brown, or gray.

Meanwhile, Prince George and Prince William matched in blue suits with white dress shirts and blue ties yesterday, while Prince Louis matched with Princess Charlotte in his first-ever Christmas Day appearance.

The siblings wore Trotters Heritage Classic Coats ($224), with Louis wearing a navy version and Charlotte wearing the same burgundy number she wore to her mother’s carol concert at Westminster Abbey on December 15.

Other royals in attendance yesterday included King Charles, Queen Consort Camilla, Prince Edward, the Countess of Wessex, Prince Andrew and Zara Tindall, as well as Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie and their husbands.

While the royals are on vacation, we can’t help but wonder what the Princess of Wales will wear in 2023.
