Keke Palmer is responding to comments about the name of her and Darius Jackson’s baby boy.

Following the actress’s Instagram debut of Leodis Andrelton Jackson on Monday, a Twitter user immediately mocked the baby’s name.

“That name sounds like it was the leader of a civil rights march,” the tweet said.

“It’s giving I marched with Martin [Luther King Jr.], purrrr,” the “Nope” star responded.

Many of the 29-year-fans old’s praised her decision, calling it “iconic” and “legendary” with a “black excellence ring to it.”

“Keke said she’s starting a dynasty with that name!” wrote one social media user.

You gotta photoshop him into old pictures,” one joked.

Others joked that the “True Jackson VP” alum should have named her son after her Disney Channel show, which aired from 2008 to 2011.

After giving birth over the weekend, the Emmy winner waited two days before sharing photos of the newborn’s face.

After claiming she was “hiding [her]son from the world,” she clarified, “I’m just playing, my baby face is on this slide. “As well as this slide.”

Palmer revealed her pregnancy news in a “Saturday Night Live” monologue two months before Leodis’ arrival.

In the December 2022 episode of “Hustlers,” the actress opened her coat to reveal her bare baby bump, exclaiming, “This has been the biggest blessing. “I’m overjoyed.”

The following month, while speaking with Jimmy Fallon, the then-expectant star revealed the gender of her baby.
Palmer and Jackson’s relationship has remained mostly private, but the “Scream Queens” alum told Bustle in March 2022 that she is the “happiest” she’s ever been with the fitness instructor.

Since 2021, the couple has been dating.
