The son of Keyshia Cole is no longer enrolled at Donda Academy. The singer admitted that after West’s scary comment about shooting up a school earlier this month, she removed her 12-year-old son DJ from West’s private school.

Ye wrote after being called out by Boosie Badazz, “Come SMACK ME OR COME SHOOT ME IM THE ONE THAT GOT BULLIED BY THE ENTIRE BLACK CELEBRITY COMMUNITY NOW IM BACK TO SHOOT THE SCHOOL UP.”

His “Impossible” coworker, whose kid attended Ye’s Christian boarding school in Simi Valley, California, was alarmed by his warning.

In response to a fan who questioned why a parent would send their child to an “unaccredited religious indoctrination facility where you have to sign an NDA to enroll,” Keyshia said, “I withdrew my DJ out of Donda regretfully because you stated he was back to shoot the school up, that concerned me a bit.

In response to claims that the covert school demands parents to sign nondisclosure agreements, Keyshia said she was under no need to do so. Furthermore, no NDA was signed. I don’t know who might have, but that wasn’t mentioned to us,” she continued.

Ye made the announcement that Donda Academy would be closing its doors as a result of his numerous issues. Jason Angell, the school’s administrator, informed parents of students in an email late on Wednesday that Donda Academy will be closing for the remainder of the 2022–2023 school year, effective right away, at the founder’s decision.

A parent quickly sent a second email inviting pupils back to Donda Academy just hours afterward. The message stated, “Join us tomorrow morning in worship for the homecoming of Donda Academy.” “We are back, and we’re coming back with a vengeance, thanks to our parents and the community!”

The school’s future is still up in the air, though. According to reports, some faculty members have resigned in opposition to Kanye’s anti-Semitic tirades, his untrue claims on the demise of George Floyd, and his contentious “White Lives Matter” shirt.

The school with the same name as Ye’s late mother opened its doors in August. There were approximately 100 kids overall, with half receiving scholarships from Kanye, according to TMZ. The others reportedly paid $15,000 in tuition each year.
