Kim Kardashian’s Recent Reflections on Daughter’s TikTok Presence Spark Controversy.

Kim Kardashian’s recent comments regarding her eldest daughter’s TikTok activities have generated a significant response, leading her to consider if Kanye West’s concerns were valid. In an interview for Time’s “2023’s Most Influential Companies” issue, the celebrity discussed North West’s collaborations with rapper Ice Spice.

Their oldest child’s energetic involvement with the rapper on the social media platform included a variety of content, such as costumes, drawings, lip-sync performances, and occasionally, mature themes. Kardashian openly admitted to the publication, “When I read the lyrics, I realized we needed to intervene,” acknowledging the echoes of internet users who proclaimed, “Kanye was right.” She further stated, “Perhaps, in this situation, he was.”

One particularly controversial video featured the 10-year-old mouthing the lyrics to Ice Spice’s popular song “In Ha Mood.” The lyrics she rapped were, “Bae, I’m not stayin’, I just wanna play. At the party, he just wanna rump. Big boobs and the butt stay plump.” Another video showed North dressed as Ice Spice, mimicking the lyrics to “Boys a Liar Pt. 2” while wearing the Bronx rapper’s chain.

Kanye West’s concerns regarding his daughters’ online activities have been an ongoing topic of discussion. In 2022, he sparked conversations by sharing a snapshot of a video posted on their account, describing North’s involvement as being “put on TikTok against my will.” However, the photo, along with other questionable posts on his page, was eventually taken down.

In response to Kanye’s criticism, Kim Kardashian took to Instagram Story to share her perspective, expressing that his constant attacks were more harmful than any potential TikTok content North West could create.

Despite North’s presence on TikTok, Kim recently disclosed during her appearance on Angie Martinez’s “IRL” podcast that her daughter only accessed the app through her own phone. Kim emphasized that North enjoys creating slime videos and hair tutorials, and she will always support and encourage her creativity.
