Kim Kardashian gave her older sister, Kourtney Kardashian, some wise words moments before the 43-year-old reality star walked down the aisle to Travis Barker in an ornate Italian wedding in May 2022.
Kim is seen reflecting on her 2014 wedding to ex Kanye West, which also took place in Italy, in the new Hulu special ‘Til Death Do Us Part Kourtney & Travis.
“The one piece of advice I’ll give you is that when I was walking down the aisle in Italy and I had the long train, I was so nervous that it was going to come off that I walked so fast,” Kim says as she prepares to make her bridal entrance.
“Do you mean walk slowly?” Kourtney inquires.
“Walk slowly and take it all in because this only happens once,” Kim adds.
Walking slowly wasn’t an issue for Kourtney when it came time to make her grand entrance. The mother of three was dressed in a custom Dolce & Gabbana mini-dress, but her long veil proved problematic as she attempted to walk down the steep staircase while it became entangled in nearby bushes.
“Did you notice I was getting stuck?” Kourtney later inquires about her entrance.
“No, I was just in the zone,” Travis responds.
While Kourtney and Travis’ wedding in Positano, Italy, was stunning, she is not the first member of the Kardashian family to marry in the country. Kim and Kanye tied the knot in Florence, Italy, in 2014. The couple divorced after eight years of marriage and four children. Kim filed for divorce in 2021, and it was finalized in November 2022.
