Kim Kardashian attended the TIME 100 Summit due to her humanitarian work.

In this day and age, there aren’t many celebrities who get as involved with ordinary people to help them out as Kim Kardashian has. She literally uses her celebrity to get people out of unfair legal situations; many regular attorneys are offended that this celebrity is completing their work faster than they are. At the end of the day, the goal is to assist as many people as possible.

Her humanitarian work in changing the American government’s criminal reform policies has been critical in releasing people like Alice Marie Johnson from an unjust prison sentence. Kim became interested in the project as soon as she realized how much her star power is worth in these situations.

During a conversation with Poppy Harlow at the Time100 Summit, the two discussed Kim Kardashian’s current work and why she is one of TIME’s most influential people in 2023. For those who are unaware, Kim Kardashian is seriously considering a career in law. In the state of California, the influencer and business mogul has already passed the baby bar exam.

The First-Year Law Students Examination is what it’s called. Jessica Jackson and Erin Harley, both human rights attorneys, are taking her under their wing and teaching her the ropes. Kardashian has stated that she is willing to completely change her career path for the sake of a good cause.

Kim Kardashian, attorney at law

“When I met Alice, I felt like it was a fairly easy experience for me, when I know it shouldn’t be, to get someone out,” Kim told CNN’s, Poppy Harlow. What I accomplished in six months would take ten to twenty years. And I wasn’t aware of the fight at the time. That was a few phone calls to me. That really struck me, you know, that whatever was done, it was done.

I’m extremely grateful. However, the system and the process must change. You reach a point where you have experiences that completely transform you. I always make fun of my manager, my mother.  I say, ‘Kim K is retiring, and I’m just going to be an attorney. So you can go help my siblings.”
