Shortly after Kylie revealed that she and Travis Scott renamed their baby boy Aire, the Kardashians star reacted to an online video mocking how the couple—who also share daughter Stormi, 4—choose their son’s new name.
TikToker @simo ziqubu (pretending to be both Travis and Kylie in this scenario) used the opening theme from Nickelodeon’s Avatar: The Last Airbender to list out all the elements as possibilities in a Jan. 22 video, which of course meant naming Water, Earth, and Fire—meeting with Travis’s slight disapproval—until they settled on the one that seemed to fit: Air.
What about Kylie’s reaction? She topped the comments section with two crying emojis.
The announcement comes nearly ten months after she announced their decision to change their baby boy’s original name, Wolf. Kylie made the name change public a little more than a month after welcoming him.
“We just didn’t feel like it was him,” she wrote in an Instagram Story post from March 2022. “I just wanted to share because I keep seeing Wolf.”
Later that year, Kylie revealed the mystery surrounding her son’s new name, revealing that she and Travis were still playing the name game.
“Travis actually still changes his name a few times,” she revealed on The Kardashians in September 2022. “He’ll return and say, ‘I really like this name.’ And then he’ll call him that for the rest of the day. ‘We can’t do this again,’ I think.”
A source previously confirmed that Aire’s name means “lion of God.”
