In an exclusive interview with Cosmopolitan for their latest cover story, rising rapper Latto shared her personal journey of embracing her body and deciding against a second surgical procedure. Instead, she made the choice to hire a personal trainer to focus on physical toning.

During the candid conversation, the 24-year-old artist opened up about her past experiences with cosmetic enhancements. In 2020, she underwent a Brazilian butt lift and 360-degree liposuction, targeting areas such as her stomach, back, sides, and entire torso.

While facing the pressure to maintain her post-surgery appearance, the talented musician admitted that she initially contemplated another round of surgery. However, she had a change of heart and opted for a different path. “I recently shared on Twitter that I was considering a second surgery, but I had a moment of realization and decided to hire a personal trainer instead,” she revealed honestly.

As a fervent advocate of self-love and body positivity, which is evident in her empowering music tracks like “It’s Givin” and “My Body,” Latto emphasized the significance of self-discipline and accountability in her fitness journey. She explained that she has always been committed to working out, both before and after her surgery. However, there were times when she found it challenging to stay motivated and push herself to the limit. By having a personal trainer, she found that it provided the necessary accountability to maintain her fitness goals.

Latto’s story serves as a testament to her growth and determination to prioritize her overall well-being. Her decision to prioritize physical toning through hiring a personal trainer showcases her commitment to self-improvement and embracing a positive body image.

Since bursting onto the scene in 2016, the rapper has always been confident in showcasing her curves. Embracing her youthful spirit, Latto believes that now is the perfect time to celebrate her body’s natural beauty, a sentiment her mother wholeheartedly supports. Through platforms like Instagram and TikTok, she generously shares her workout routines and fitness journey with her fans, emphasizing the significance of putting in the effort to stay in shape.

Latto’s perspective on surgery brings forth a valuable viewpoint, but it is her broader message of self-love and maintaining a healthy body that strikes a chord with not only her fellow musicians but also a wider audience. Her empowering stance resonates with individuals across various industries, encouraging them to embrace their unique selves and prioritize their well-being.

The talented artist from Atlanta is currently basking in the success of her chart-topping single “Put It On Da Floor.” The track, which received an exciting remix from Cardi B, has garnered an impressive 24 million views on YouTube and inspired over 200,000 creative videos on TikTok.
