Lizzo has entered the “Star Wars” universe.
The Grammy-winning singer made a surprise appearance in Season 3 of Disney+’s “The Mandalorian.” In “Guns for Hire,” episode 6, she played Duchess, the wife of Jack Black’s Captain Bombardier. The wealthy married couple rules the independent planet Plazir-15 together.
Baby Yoda aka Grogu used the Force to help Duchess win a game of space bocce ball during the episode. Lizzo’s character then took up a sword and knighted Grogu.
Fans of “Star Wars” were taken aback by the unexpected cameos, which included Christopher Lloyd. “‘Baby Yoda is knighted by Lizzo and Jack Black’ was not on my 2023 bingo card,” one fan tweeted.

Lizzo has previously expressed her enthusiasm for “Star Wars.” She dressed up as Baby Yoda for Halloween in 2021.
