Since Cristiano Ronaldo’s explosive conversation with Piers Morgan went viral, Manchester United and the forward have been in the news.
The Portuguese star said in the interview that he does not respect manager Erik ten Hang and that the club has not improved since Sir Alex Ferguson left in 2013. He also criticized Manchester United as a whole.
The team then stated that they are looking into their legal options in relation to the interview and what can be done, however there have been rumors that Ronaldo would likely be released by United.
The five-time Ballon d’Or winner from Portugal, who is currently in Qatar competing for his nation in the 2022 World Cup, may not have a club after the event.
The Sun UK reports that Real Madrid has rejected any opportunity for Cristiano Ronaldo to rejoin the team after the Spanish club declared they will not be adding any players during the January transfer window.
