Peter Okoye Breaks His Silence — “Family Doesn’t Steal From Family”
Peter Okoye isn’t staying quiet anymore.
The singer has openly criticized his brothers, Paul and Jude Okoye, over claims made about him during a legal battle involving Nigeria’s anti-graft agency. In court, a lawyer representing Jude accused Peter of making misleading statements—specifically about finances, royalties, and company decisions tied to Northside Music Ltd.
But Peter’s not backing down.
Taking to Instagram, he called out what he sees as a pattern—pointing to how other artists like May D and Cynthia Morgan allegedly faced similar treatment under the same label.
“I’m not May D. I’m not Cynthia Morgan. I’m Peter Okoye,” he wrote. “And I will speak my truth.”
Referencing the late Mohbad’s heartbreaking case and how the public reacted, Peter revealed that he’s done keeping quiet just to keep the peace. He admitted that trying to be the “mature one” only made things worse.
“I tried to play the bigger person… never again,” he said. “Love me or hate me, I’ll say it as it is. Family doesn’t steal from family.”
He also suggested that the much-publicized P-Square reunion in 2021 wasn’t as genuine as fans believed. According to him, he felt used—and he’s waiting for the right moment, possibly in court, to fully reveal what really happened behind the scenes.
The emotion in his message is raw, and it’s clear Peter’s holding nothing back this time.
