Nigerian gospel singer Moses Bliss expressed gratitude for the opportunity to perform for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Prince Harry and Meghan, during their inaugural visit to Nigeria.
Sharing a video on his Instagram account on May 13, 2024, Bliss showcased his performance for the British royalty and attendees at the Delborough Hotel, Lagos. In his caption, he described it as an honor to celebrate love with a song that reflects the essence of divine love, a love guided by purpose and answered prayers.
Bliss also shared pictures with Harry and Meghan, expressing his excitement over meeting them and thanking the Delborough Hotel for hosting him. He expressed gratitude to Sir Stanley Uzochukwu for the privilege, emphasizing his profound joy in meeting and performing for the royal couple and hearing Meghan’s appreciation for his music.
Prince Harry and Meghan’s visit is linked to the Invictus Games, an initiative founded by the prince to support the rehabilitation of wounded and sick servicemen and veterans. During their stay, they visited Lights Academy in Abuja, a school supported by their Archewell Foundation, where they interacted with students warmly welcomed by the children.
Additionally, Prince Harry visited the Nigerian Army Reference Hospital Kaduna, providing words of encouragement to the wounded, and engaged in a friendly seated volleyball match with army veterans, despite losing. The royal couple arrived in Lagos from Abuja on Sunday, May 12, continuing their three-day visit to Nigeria, where they received commendations from Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu at Lagos House, Marina.
