The Best African Art award went to a Nigerian music talent during the weekend’s MTV EMA 2022 awards.

Following a hugely successful 2022, Burna won the award ahead of other nominees like Ayra Starr (Nigeria), BlackSherif (Ghana), Musa Keys (South Africa), and Zuchu (Tanzania).
