Natasha Osawuru Shuts Down Drug Allegations, Focuses on Her Career
Edo State lawmaker, Natasha Osawuru, has dismissed claims circulating online that accuse her of drug use.
Following Nigerian music legend 2Baba’s public confirmation of their relationship, rumors began to spread, suggesting that Natasha struggles with substance abuse.
Addressing the speculation in an interview with journalist Stella Dimoko Korkus, Natasha made it clear that she remains unbothered by such accusations.
At 29, she believes her energy and determination might lead some to misunderstand her. However, she emphasized that she has no presence on social media and doesn’t engage with the rumors.
“I became a legislator at 28, and now at 29, I understand that people will always talk,” she shared. “But I don’t pay attention to baseless claims. I’m a happy person, and I focus on what truly matters. I don’t even have an Instagram account, so I don’t see or hear about these allegations.”
She further explained that while her team manages social media pages on her behalf, she has chosen to ignore online negativity.
“I told my team to stop updating me about false stories. My focus is on my career, and I’m excelling in it—that’s all that matters to me,” Natasha concluded.
