Following the screening of parliamentary candidates, the National Democratic Congress NDC resolved to dissolve the appeals committee in regions where there were no cases.
Overall, five regions- Upper West, Upper East, Savannah, Bono East, and North East were excluded from consideration after the vetting without receiving any appeals from candidates
This was stated in a notice that was published by the hearing date for all appeals.

The opposition party, which is preparing to select its candidates for the 2024 election, both for the presidency and for the legislature, has announced that appeals will be considered on April 14’s Thursday and Friday.

Only one day was specified in the notice as the deadline for appeals. The committee may choose to hold the exercise on either Thursday or Friday.
The Greater Accra and Oti regions each have four appeals cases, with the Western region reportedly having seven. While Ashanti, Volta, Northern, and Central regions each have two cases, the Eastern region has three cases that need to be heard.
