On New Year’s Eve, Nicki Minaj took the stage at E11EVEN Miami in Florida, delivering a lively performance featuring tracks from her chart-topping album, Pink Friday 2. Meanwhile, a pre-recorded clip of her New Year’s resolution aired on CNN’s “New Year’s Eve Live” show, hosted by Andy Cohen and Anderson Cooper.

When Cohen asked about her resolution, the Queens emcee humorously declared, “My New Year’s resolution is to keep my foot on these bches’ necks.” As the clip played on CNN, Cooper amusingly responded, “Well, wow, who is she referring to?” Cohen playfully answered, “These bches.”

The playful banter highlighted the relaxed atmosphere brought about by the reintroduction of alcohol into CNN’s New Year’s Eve broadcast. This decision came after a year off, following mixed reviews of Don Lemon’s previous appearance on the show.

Fans on social media had a blast reacting to the clip. One user noted, “Andy totally understands dealing with all those d**n housewives; Anderson, on the other hand, is like ‘what now?'” Another commenter found humor in the hosts’ dynamic, saying, “Andy and Anderson are on the opposite spectrum of gay, and it’s hilarious to see together.” However, a more serious fan expressed concern, stating, “Going into 2024 still pressed by other females at her age is not a good look for the Barbz.”

Nicki Minaj has been making waves since the release of her latest album, with fans speculating about potential disses aimed at Megan Thee Stallion and Latto in the track “FTCU.” In the lyrics, Minaj raps, “Stay in your Tory lane, b**ch, I’m not Iggy,” which some interpret as a nod to Megan’s past conflict with Tory Lanez. Notably, Lanez faced legal consequences for shooting Megan in the foot in 2020.

During an exclusive interview with Joe Budden, Minaj addressed the bars, asking, “Without thinking about it being shade to a few people, what do you think the line itself means?” Budden wrapped up the conversation by noting, “‘I’m not one of them,’ and I think it was a clever way to say that.”

Amidst the chatter, it’s evident that Nicki Minaj dominated in 2023 and is gearing up for an exciting 2024, marked by an upcoming international tour.
