A Nigerian content creator known as Chidike Emmanuel was tragically shot dead in the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) while preparing for a production in the Mpape area of Abuja.
The news of Emmanuel’s death surfaced after Loveline Imaobong, a social media user, shared a post alerting about the incident. According to reports, Emmanuel’s lifeless body was discovered in a mortuary.
Imaobong’s post read, “The guy in the picture is lying lifeless in the mortuary, he was attacked. Any lead to his family members would be appreciated. They should please go to Mpape’s new police station, Berger Quarry. Please repost till it gets to them.”
While the FCT Police spokesperson, Josephine Adeh, has yet to comment on the matter, close friends of the deceased have taken to social media platforms to pay tribute and demand justice for Emmanuel, utilizing the hashtag #Justiceforchidi.
In a separate development, the Lagos State Command of the Nigeria Police Force has apprehended the popular Nigerian singer known as Portable.
Reports indicate that Portable was arrested for failing to settle the balance of a G-Wagon car he purchased from a vehicle dealer. Despite purchasing the vehicle valued at N27 million and paying only N13 million, Portable refused to pay the remaining N14 million, claiming the vehicle was faulty whenever contacted by the dealer.
Frustrated by Portable’s evasion, the dealer reported the matter to the police, resulting in Portable’s arrest. Benjamin Hundeyin, the Lagos State Police Public Relations Officer, confirmed the arrest upon inquiry.
