Dakore Akande Denounces False Affair Rumors
Nollywood actress Dakore Egbuson-Akande has vehemently denied rumors linking her to Senate President Godswill Akpabio. The allegations surfaced after an Instagram blog claimed several female Nigerian celebrities, including Dakore, were involved with Akpabio.
In response, Dakore took to her Instagram page to refute the claims, describing them as baseless and malicious. She asserted that she has never met Akpabio and threatened legal action against the blog for attempting to tarnish her reputation.
“I saw calls and text messages this morning, alerting me to a very wicked lie from the pit of hell,” Dakore stated. “I am very disappointed, shocked, and appalled. I have never met the Senate President, nor have I been in the same room with him, let alone being his side chick. I am happily married with two beautiful children. For a blogger to include my name among women allegedly involved with him is wicked and unfounded.”
Dakore further challenged anyone with evidence of her supposed affair to come forward, offering a reward of N5 million. “Anyone who can say I have been with this man and provide hard evidence, video or audio, will receive N5 million from me right now,” she declared. “I have worked too hard for my name and reputation to allow anyone to cause trouble in my life. I reject these lies and stand against them.”
