October is set to bring some exciting news for fans as the talented rapper Offset gears up to release his fresh solo studio album. During a recent chat with Ebro Darden on Apple Music 1, Offset shared his thoughts about his upcoming project. He revealed that the wheels are officially in motion for the album’s launch after the release of his latest single, “Jealousy,” which features his wife and fellow artist, Cardi B.

With enthusiasm, Offset confirmed, “Yes, October is our target, and right now, we’re simply building up the momentum.” He elaborated on the creative path ahead, saying, “I’m planning to maintain the momentum of my album rollout. It all began with ‘Jealousy,’ so I’ll be building on that foundation. This album will showcase much more of my personality, allowing me to push the boundaries of my creativity and take it to the next level.”

Adding to the anticipation, Offset also surprised fans with a new single just three weeks after the release of “Jealousy.” This move keeps the excitement alive and thriving for his upcoming album.

In an unexpected and delightful twist, the music video for “Jealousy” brings a special appearance by the renowned film icon, Jamie Lee Curtis. Offset shared the intriguing story behind this collaboration, revealing, “It’s funny how it happened – I didn’t really know her before we shot the video, but I just dropped her a message about it.” He continued, “The concept felt tied to the theme of jealousy. So, I sent her a direct message, and you know what? She got back to me, just like that.”

In a refreshing departure from the typical celebrity scene, Curtis made her way to Offset’s California residence “wearing her attire and we simply started filming.” The whole experience left Offset in awe of Curtis, as he expressed his deep admiration, even going as far as calling her “the greatest of all time.” He was impressed by how swiftly she wrapped up the shooting process.

As eager supporters eagerly await further updates on Offset’s upcoming album, the excitement continues to build around the imminent release from the former Migos member. The collaboration with Cardi B on the track “Jealousy,” coupled with the inclusion of Jamie Lee Curtis, certainly raises the bar for the album’s anticipation. Lastly, the hearts of Migos fans were warmed by the reunion of Offset and Quavo, who joined forces to pay tribute to their late fellow group member, Takeoff, at the 2023 BET Awards.

The countdown to October begins.
