Pete Edochie, a veteran Nollywood actor, has praised his late grandson, Kambilinachukwu Edochie, saying he was accomplished even at a young age.
According to the PUNCH, Kambilinachukwu was the son of Nollywood actor Yul Edochie. On Thursday morning, the 16-year-old boy died.
Yul had just celebrated his 16th birthday with his wife, May Edochie when his son died.
Yul celebrated his (son’s) 16th birthday on January 4 via his verified Instagram handle, writing, “A very happy 16th birthday to my first son, Kambilinachukwu Leo Yul-Edochie.” May God always guide and protect you. With many more happy years ahead of you. “Daddy adores you.”
Edochie, on the other hand, stated that the deceased was brilliant and talented.
“Kambilinachukwu is a quiet, brilliant, and talented young man.” He’s not someone you can easily ride. He never gets angry, no matter what the situation is.
“He may have lost his cool, but he was a very unusual person in so many ways.”
“He was extremely accomplished. I always tell my son that I don’t like it when people excel at everything they do. “I’ve learned from experience that such people don’t last long,” Edochie told Vanguard in an interview.
Edochie explained that the deceased suffered a seizure after collapsing while playing football with his classmates.
He claimed that Kambilichukwu was rushed to Lagos’ Mother and Child Hospital, where he died hours later.
