Phyna Opens Up About Breakup with Groovy and Readiness for Marriage
Former Big Brother Naija housemate, Phyna, recently shared her side of the story regarding the end of her relationship with fellow housemate Groovy. In an exclusive interview with Joy Prime TV in Ghana, she candidly discussed the factors that led to their breakup.
Phyna revealed that when she entered the relationship, her intentions were genuine. However, as time passed, she noticed inconsistencies in Groovy’s feelings towards her, realizing that his affections were not as sincere as hers. It was during this period that she discovered his interest in another girl while they were still together.
Instead of confronting the situation directly, Phyna decided to handle it strategically. She played along, carefully navigating the circumstances while protecting her own emotions. During the interview, she explained, “I genuinely entered the relationship with the belief that it was mutual. However, as time went on, I discovered that his feelings were not as genuine as mine. When I found out about his interest in another girl, I had to be smart and handle the situation accordingly.”

On a different note, Phyna also shared that she has been receiving numerous marriage proposals through social media. Expressing her readiness for marriage, she took to her Twitter handle and posted stunning photos of herself in a wedding gown, stating, “Me practicing my wedding gown. 26 and ready.”
