Oman FM’s esteemed host, Kwabena Kwakye, affectionately known as Wofa KK, has passed away tragically while on duty on Wednesday morning, February 14, 2024. He was presenting the political talk program “Boiling Point” and the morning show “National Agenda” on Oman FM.
Wofa KK was not only a renowned radio host but also served as a parliamentary and presidential correspondent at Net2 TV. His notable career included being appointed to the Board of the Ghana National Petroleum Company (GNPC) by President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo in 2017, with Freddie Blay as the chairman.
A respected voice on the airwaves, Wofa KK was known for his significant contributions to popular programs, often stepping in for the main host. Before joining Oman FM, he had worked with Adom FM, a part of the Multimedia Group Limited, and also served as a correspondent for Net2 TV.
