Because of his face and neck tattoos, the “Circles” singer was denied entry to a hotel in Perth, Australia. According to Rolling Stone, he tried to enter the QT hotel’s rooftop bar on Sunday night but was turned away by security for violating the venue’s strict dress code, which forbids “face, neck, and offensive tattoos.”

“They turned me down because of my tattoos,” Post explained to The West Australian. “I’ve never had anything like that before.”

QT Hotels apologized in a statement to the Daily Mail Australia on Monday.

“At QT, we strive to welcome everyone and celebrate each individual’s uniqueness. “QT has been recognized for this for many years,” according to the statement. “However, on Saturday night, our third-party security did not exercise the appropriate discretion, and we take full responsibility for this. We sincerely apologize to those who have been affected.”

However, Post did not let the incident ruin his evening. He eventually ended up at another nearby rooftop bar, where he allegedly purchased drinks for fans.

Post was in Australia for Red Hot Chili Peppers’ six-date stadium tour, which concluded on Sunday. The shows followed Roddy Ricch’s “Twelve Carat Tour” from the previous year.

Post is well-known for his large tattoo collection. He has several tattoos on his face, including “Always Tired” under his eyes, barbed wire across his hairline, and his daughter’s initials, DDP, on his forehead.
While on tour, Post’s thin appearance alarmed fans, sparking speculation that he was battling illness or addiction. According to TMZ, he is healthy and the weight loss is due to his exercising and following a strict diet.
