Lindsay Lohan received a lot of love! The 36-year-old actress was feted by family and friends at a baby shower on Saturday.
“What a beautiful baby shower we gave my sweet angel Lindsay this weekend, surrounded by family and friends, filled with the utmost joy and love,” Lindsay’s mother, Dina, tells ET. We feel blessed and overjoyed as we await the arrival of our baby miracle.”
Lohan, who is expecting her first child with her husband, Bader Shammas, posted pictures from the celebration on her Instagram Story. Lohan’s first slide showed her, her sister, Aliana, and a friend counting down the number of children they had between them.
“16 years and nearly 3 babies later… it’s still us,” the caption read.
Lohan poses with Aliana in another slide as a “sisters” gif flashes on the screen.
Lohan appears in the final slide in a selfie with another friend who is celebrating the occasion.
“Flew into town to shower my gorgeous preggers bestie and glowing Mama-to-be @lindsaylohan.”
The Freaky Friday star did not share any additional photos from the shower.
Lohan announced in March that she and her husband were expecting their first child. The Mean Girls star made the sweet announcement by posting a photo of herself wearing a white onesie with the words “Coming Soon.”
Lohan captioned the photo, “We are blessed and excited!”
Dina Lohan, Lohan’s mother, told ET at the time, “I am over the moon, filled with so much joy and happiness for my daughter and her husband, and my family is overjoyed.” It’s a wonderful time for all of us.”
A source also confirmed to ET that the actress’s latest holiday film has been halted.
According to the source, “Production on Lindsay Lohan’s next Christmas movie for Netflix has been delayed due to her pregnancy.”
So far, no further information about Lohan’s baby has been revealed.
Lohan and Shammas, a Dubai-based financier, are set to marry in April 2022.
